My Davis Wireless Vantage Pro2 weather station has been configured to upload data to this website as well as to Weather Underground. I'm reporting my data as Wolf Airport 1W5 due to my close proximity to the grass strip in Eldersburg, MD.
Below, are some pictures of my installation. I was able to obtain a short piece of PVC which is hose-clamped to a roof vent in order to mount the anemometer. The rain guage which includes the barometer, temperature and humidity sensors is mounted on a fence with a cable running between it and the anemometer on the roof. The rain guage / sensor suite is powered by a solar panel and wirelessly transmits data every 2.5 seconds to the console in my office. I'm using a serial connection to my workstation that has the WeatherLink software configured to upload data to the web every 5 minutes. My office is on a UPS, which can run for 3 days without commercial power.
